About
Diehard Colorado Sports fan who currently lives in Broomfield, CO, Born in 1992. I wish I was a better sports Historian, but typically my knowledge starts and stops at the years around when I was 6-7 years old. I remember the Broncos Super Bowls in the 90s and 2015, the Avalanche Stanley Cups in the 1990s and 2000s, the Nuggets WCF runs with Carmelo and more recently with Nikola, and I remember the Rockies World Series run in the 2000s.
I try to watch every Broncos game and submit social media content throughout the games and typically some form of recap/review of how the Broncos game went after it’s all said and done. I watch about 75% of the Nuggets and Avalanche games, if I have to miss a game, you bet I’m following it on ESPN. Rockies games, I like to attend a few in a season, and watch them occasionally if they are on. I do follow the Rockies, and pay attention to everything about the team, just 162 games on top of my sports obsession already is a bit much. I use the summers to get off my sports kick and reconnect with the rest of the world again.
I graduated from Colorado State University in 2015, and started my career in software development at a fortune 500 company. I was laid off after nearly five years working there and got another job working in software as a product manager at Fanatics, the sports retailer. I started my most recent role about three weeks before the pandemic kicked everybody to work from home, and so I still find myself in the WFH mode most of the time.
I actively participate in Nuggets, Avalanche, Rockies, Broncos Facebook gruop pages, where I frequently receive feedback that people love my content and I should keep writing. I used to cover all Colorado sports teams for another publication for very little money, and they were wanting to lower it even farther, so I chose to walk away. Unfortunately I love writing and sports, and so there has been a void lately. Decided to kick up my own site, write only when I want to, and don’t worry about the money, views, or politics of sports writing.
I’m excited to get started, grow my community, and interact with fans on social media! I am not the most frequent Twitter user, but when I have articles I will certainly advertise on all social media and interact with commenters across all platforms.
